However, a resistance group led by Roger Wilco's son (Roger Wilco Jr.) are proving to be a serious issue so he sends his Sequel Police back in time to kill Roger before he can create his son. In the future, he had taken over the universe and formed the Sequel Police to control the future. Roger still ends up encountering Vohaul again when he is accosted by the Sequel Police whilst drinking beer at a bar on Magmethius after rescuing the Guys from Andromeda. Although Roger becomes trapped in the Hoyle program during this event just as he was about to save the Generator. Sludge Vohaul does not appear himself but continues to be a problem after his death when another of his plots (or rather, that of one of his clones called Elmo Pug) leads to the Sarien invasion of Xenon and the capture of the second Star Generator by a combination of Sariens, cloned insurance salesman, troopers and the Pirates of Pestulon. However, Roger uses his console to enlarge and was able to shut them down because Sludge writes the shutdown code on his hand. Unfortunately for Vohaul, Roger escapes the jar with a glass cutter and is able to kill Vohaul by stopping up his life support system although his last act is to send the clones to be shipped. Roger soon confronts Sludge in his control room but is beckoned forward fearlessly just to be miniaturised and stored in a glass jar where Vohaul plans to keep him as a show piece before returning to his work. However, Sludge notices this and takes control of the ship remotely before forcing Roger to dock with the asteroid. Roger is sent to Labion to work in the mines but his ship runs out of fuel and crashes mid-transport and he is able to eventually make his way into a spaceship and tries to escape. At that time Vohaul is devising a new plan to unleash an army of door-to-door salesmen upon Xenon to somehow conquer the world. Roger eventually learns the full details of Vohaul's plan when he is captured by Vohaul's henchman on a space station, and brought before him in his Asteroid Fortress orbiting Labion during Space Quest 2. However, his plan ends up being defeated by Roger Wilco, the only survivor of the Arcada but Sludge himself does not appear although Slash Vohaul is mentioned. Vohaul is the mastermind behind the Sariens stealing the Star Generator prototype from the Arcada, and employs them to defend it and execute his plan to use it as a weapon. He vowed he would take revenge on Xenon and the Federation that did that to him. While Sludge may have designed the concept, Slash Vohaul was considered a better researcher and invented the actual technology.įrom that point on, the cyborg Sludge was allowed to specialize only in the development of artificial sweets and processed cheese foods. It was to be his ultimate war weapon until some Elder scientists (including his genetic twin Slash Vohaul) decided it would be better used saving lives rather than destroying them. Sludge claimed he was the genius behind the Star Generator when it was still in the concept stages. But based on his appearance, being his own guinea pig had its own issues. In the old days, he used to test his inventions and creations on himself. He was once like other humans of the planet Xenon but became a mutant with cybernetic parts. Sludge Vohaul was a mad scientist and the evil clone of Slash Vohaul.
